Vera is a lonely museum warden who yearns for contact. One cold winter evening, after yet another day spent silently observing the visitors to the museum, she finds a homeless man sleeping in her doorway. She decides to take care of him. First, she gives him a blanket and a thermos flask of tea; a little later, she gives him the key to her house. Using chocolate as the principal means of communication, she strikes up an exceptional dialogue.
