NL Film starts shooting Commandos in South-Africa

Today NL Film starts shooting new drama series Commandos in Johannesburg, South-Africa. Main roles are played by Werner Kolf, Teun Kuilboer, Kay Greidanus, Egbert-Jan Weeber, Chiem Vreeken and Bilal Wahib. The series has ten episodes and will be seen in 2020 at NPO, the public broadcaster of The Netherlands.

In Commandos old commando John, who is traumatised because of a failed mission in Nigeria, gets confronted with a murderer who tries to eliminate his former comrades. He goes into combat, but finds himself fighting a war in which he might lose his buddies, family and himself.

NL Film will also shoot in The Netherlands and Belgium. Iván López Núñez and Hanro Smitsman are the directors of the thriller series.
