New NL FILM tv-series JOS on air end of May

NL Film has developed the new TV series JOS together with AVROTROS. The ten-part comedy drama series JOS was shot in 40 days and will be broadcastred every Sunday from 22 May at AVROTROS at 21.10h on NPO 3. Jos' screenplay was created and written by Anne Barnhoorn, directed by Jonathan Herman.

About JOS

Jos (Diederik Ebbinge) is the most sincere man you have ever met. A man with only good intentions who is always there for everyone. His purity, naivety and the fact that he is a bit out of step socially speaking means that Jos does not always understand the world around him very well. Jos is recently divorced, father of two teenage daughters and he has a demanding job. He is also active as a volunteer and there are more and more people who lean on him. But how much can Jos give without losing himself?

Anne Barnhoorn, creator and screenwriter: "The character Jos is pretty much the opposite of who I am. Yet this is my most personal work to date. The series is an ode to my stepfather. I think it is very special that my desire to capture his life force has grown into this funny, sometimes bizarre but above all moving series".
