Het optreden
Lin (41) bereidt zich voor op haar solonummer voor de Chinese Nieuwjaarsviering bij haar kerk. Ze hoopt indruk te maken op haar gemeenschap, maar volgens haar mentor raakt haar nummer nog niet omdat ze zich niet openstelt. Als er dan roddels rondgaan over haar zoon die al een tijd niet naar de kerk komt, komt Lin voor een moeilijke keuze te staan; blijft ze zich verstoppen of laat ze haar ware zelf zien?

She hopes to impress her community, but according to her mentor her performance isn’t connecting yet as she seems to be hiding herself. However when rumors start circulating about her son, who has not been to church for some time now, Lin is faced with a difficult choice; will she continue to hide her true self or choose to be open?
